Choc Mint Bliss Balls

These are actually that delicious it may be hard to stop at one or two haha. Depending on personal goals this is something to be mindful of as they are quite energy dense. BUT if you are after a sweet treat, these bliss balls definitely hit the spot with the added bonus of being made with a number of nutrient rich ingredients!


  • 150g pitted dates

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • ½ cup raw cashews

  • 1 ½ tsp peppermint extract

  • ¼ cup cocoa powder

  • 2 tbsp water

  • ¼ cup desiccated coconut - for rolling


  1. Soak the dates for 10-15 minutes.

  2. Add the oats, cashews and cocoa powder into a food processor and blend until roughly chopped.

  3. Add the dates, peppermint extract and water to the food processor. Scrape the sides as required to reach a smooth consistency.

  4. Place the desiccated coconut in a bowl for rolling.

  5. Spoon out large teaspoons at a time rolling into balls and coating in the coconut.

  6. Refrigerate to set. Balls are also appropriate for freezing.
